Creation of an SEO base for an international B2B website

Swedish design brand with Lithuanian roots
Bigso is a family business founded in 1963. In Sweden, today one of Europe's best-known manufacturers of luxury packaging and office organization solutions. Production is carried out in Šiauliai, and customers are retailers, agencies and brands all over the world. The site already existed and looked presentable, but SEO was weak - both the technical side and the content strategy. Our task was to change that.

Competitive niche, low content volume, zero SEO base
The market for B2B packaging and storage solutions is competitive enough, and Bigs' website entered it practically without any basis: there were no optimized meta headings, schema markup did not work, CMS pages were indexed empty, some product pages - non-functional. At the same time, the amount of content on the site was relatively small, which naturally limits the number of keywords and the ability to compete in the market.

Systematic work from technical background to content strategy
We started with a technical SEO audit and corrections: fixed sitemap and robots.txt, solved 404 and 301 errors, implemented schema markup, closed empty CMS pages from indexing, added Open Graph images, configured reCAPTCHA for form protection, GDPR compliance ensured. In parallel, we conducted a keyword research — we developed a strategy based on Bigs' areas of activity and search trends. Based on it, we optimized the H1 to H3 structure, created meta headings and descriptions, updated the content of the contact page and implemented date tags in the news section. We additionally fixed the broken product page in Amadeus and performed Core Web Vitals optimization according to Google standards.

First signs of growth — and a solid foundation to follow
Technical flaws that previously hampered the visibility of the site are being eliminated. Some of the keywords — especially the less competitive ones — have already started to move up. This is a typical stage in the SEO process: internal optimization provides the foundation, and consistent content and reputation creation will lead to a long-term result. Bigso now has not only a representative website, but also a working SEO infrastructure on which to build.
