A Festival Platform with an Integrated Donation System and Event Archive

A Separate Identity for the Festival
The Canto Fiorito ensemble organizes the Kretinga Early Music Festival, but until now the festival did not have a separate digital space. The goal was to create an independent website where visitors could find all information about festival events, explore the archive, and support the festival online.

Balancing a Strong Client Vision with Technical Implementation
The client was highly involved in shaping the design direction: from the green color carried over from the ensemble’s identity to the background colors of each section and the structure of the hero area. However, the project went beyond aesthetics — we also had to ensure a technical foundation that would make it easy to manage the festival archive and accept donations online.

Content Management System and Donation Integrations
We created a three-level content management structure: festival years, events, and their programs. This allows the team to independently add to and grow the festival archive. We also implemented PayPal, Paysera, and bank transfer integrations, making it easy for visitors to donate to the festival online.

A Classical Spirit in a Contemporary Form
Visually, we drew from the aesthetics of early music: using elegant, more classical typography while maintaining a modern and clean structure for a smooth user experience. The changing background colors between sections add dynamism to the page, while green accents create a connection with the ensemble’s identity.
An Independent Platform for a Growing Festival
The new website clearly separates the festival from its organizer, giving it an independent identity and a convenient tool for both communication and archiving. The festival team now has a flexible archive and a simple way to manage events, while visitors can not only explore the program but also support the festival online.
