A Positive Approach to Addiction Treatment

Addictus (Psychologist) website: homepage preview. A Positive Approach to Addiction Treatment
Goal

Refreshing the Image and Strengthening Trust

Addictus is an addiction psychologist who previously had an outdated website that was not generating enough inquiries. The goal was to create a new, trustworthy, and modern digital space where visitors could find information about the services while also feeling hope and confidence.

Addictus: Refreshing the Image and Strengthening Trust.
Challenge

How to Talk About a Sensitive Topic in a Positive Way

The previous website was dominated by negative imagery — restrained hands and sad families. We needed to change the tone and create an environment where someone looking for help would feel accepted and not lose hope. At the same time, it was important to communicate the psychologist’s professionalism, experience, and methods in a subtle but clear way.

Solution

A Visual Direction That Gives Hope

We moved away from dark visuals associated with guilt or shame. Instead, we used positive metaphors — a forest path lit by sunlight and a person breaking free from chains. These visuals communicate the path toward freedom and change that the psychologist’s work offers. We built the color palette around blue, representing calmness and professionalism, and beige, representing warmth and approachability, creating a balanced atmosphere.

Results

More Inquiries and Better Visibility

The psychologist noticed an increase in the number of inquiries compared to the previous website. Visitors respond positively to the new atmosphere — it creates a sense of warmth, professionalism, and hope. Technical improvements also contributed to these changes: the ManoDaktaras booking integration and SEO optimization helped the website become more visible.

Structure

Help by addiction, answers and a way to register

The site speaks about psychotherapy and laser therapy in Vilnius and online, and immediately separates help by addiction – alcohol, nicotine, psychoactive substances – so a person finds their own situation within seconds. Articles, an “About me” section, people’s experiences and frequently asked questions follow, and an unexpected but fitting part is therapeutic poetry. The “Register for a consultation” call repeats through the page and the phone number stays visible in the header, so someone who has decided can reach out that same minute.
